The SmartX SX-PL705 Tuya Bluetooth Smart Padlock brings keyless smart access to a compact and durable padlock design.

Instead of relying only on a traditional key, the SX-PL705 provides multiple ways to unlock, including fingerprint, passcode, Tuya App and mechanical key access.

Its IP67-rated construction, zinc alloy lock body and A3 steel shackle make it suitable for a variety of everyday security applications where convenient keyless access is required.

The lock connects to the Tuya Smart / Smart Life ecosystem through Bluetooth, allowing compatible smartphone control when you are within Bluetooth range.

For users who need remote access, remote unlocking notifications and access records, the SX-PL705 can be paired with a compatible Tuya Bluetooth-to-WiFi Gateway, available separately from SmartX BD.

IP67 Water-Resistant Smart Padlock

The SX-PL705 has an IP67-rated design, providing a high level of protection against dust and temporary water immersion under the applicable IP67 test conditions.

However, IP67 does not mean the padlock should be deliberately exposed to continuous water, pressure washing or harsh environmental conditions.

For long-term outdoor use, proper installation and protection are still recommended.

2 × CR2032 Button Batteries

The specified standby performance is approximately up to 9 months or around 3,000 unlocking operations, depending on usage and operating conditions.

The padlock provides a low-battery indication to help remind users when battery replacement is required.

When the red indicator repeatedly flashes after unlocking, the battery should be replaced promptly.

Battery life varies depending on usage frequency, environmental conditions and other operating factors.

Low-Battery Warning

The SX-PL705 provides a low-battery warning through its indicator.

When the battery becomes low, the red indicator can flash repeatedly after unlocking.

The manufacturer indicates that the lock may continue operating for approximately one month or around 100 unlock operations after the low-battery indication appears, but battery replacement should not be delayed.

Easy User Management Through Tuya App

Once the padlock is paired with the Tuya App, users can be managed through the lock’s member-management functions.

You can register:

Battery Replacement

When the low-battery warning appears, replace the batteries promptly.

To replace the batteries:

1. Use a small screwdriver to loosen the screw at the bottom.
2. Remove the battery compartment.
3. Replace both CR2032 batteries.
4. Ensure the batteries are installed in the correct orientation.
5. Reinstall and tighten the battery compartment.

Important: The two button batteries are stacked in the same direction according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Follow the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.

Battery Safety Information

This product uses CR2032 button batteries.

Button batteries can be extremely dangerous if swallowed.

• Keep new and used batteries away from children.
• Never allow children to play with loose batteries.
• Dispose of used batteries promptly and responsibly.
• If a battery is swallowed or suspected to have been inserted into the body, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
• If the battery compartment cannot be securely closed, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
• Do not dispose of used batteries with ordinary household waste. Follow appropriate battery recycling/disposal procedures.

Important Note About Factory Experience Mode

The manufacturer indicates that the padlock may be supplied in an initial experience mode, in which an unregistered fingerprint may be able to unlock the device.

Register the administrator/user fingerprint and bind the padlock to the Tuya App before putting the product into normal use.

This is particularly important if the padlock is being installed for security purposes.
